не понял ответ - а что и куда надо было дописать? я дважды переставлял модуль, сделал всё как описал здесь в форуме. Записей в магазине совсем мало - он ещё только стартует, так что памяти и места точно хватает

Здравствуйте. прочитал всю эту тему, погуглил интернет и вообще уже не первый день сижу с этим ЧПУ и ничего не могу понять - что я делаю не так.

А теперь по порядку:

ставлю ЧПУ    НА ЛОКАЛКУ:
1) в админке: система/настройки/сервер: включить ЧПУ: да, Тип ЧПУ: SeoPro, ЧПУ товаров с категориями: да, Окончание ЧПУ: .html
2)поставил модуль DEADCOW SEO 2.5 Rus   в настройках этого модуля все расширения стёр.
3)Сгенерировал категории, товары, производителей.
4)Почистил кэш так: стёр всё (кроме index.html) из папки /system/cache/
5)Переименовал файл htaccess.txt на .htaccess
6)Запускаю магазин, вижу все категории с нормальными именами, но когда жму на любую из них, то открывается окно денвера "Ура! Заработало!"

 

Стал те же телодвижения делать НА ХОСТИНГЕ, сразу возникла сложность: при попытке запустить модуль Deadcow SEO на генерацию ЧПУ-ссылок выдаётся сообщение: Сервер не найден. Firefox не может найти сервер home.
Обратился в тех.поддержку хостинга - они мне написали что это от них никак не зависит.

Главный вопрос: что я делаю не так???
